We're a small, focused team working on a problem that matters โ alarm fatigue in Malaysia's ICUs. If you want your work to have a direct clinical impact, we'd like to talk to you.
The problem we're solving โ alarm fatigue โ is listed in ECRI's top 10 healthcare hazards globally. In Malaysia's ICUs, it's acute and underserved. The work is real, the stakes are clinical, and the outcomes are documented.
We're small by design. Every person here makes decisions that ship. There's no layer between your ideas and the product โ and no product gap between the product and patient impact. You'll feel the feedback loop.
We work directly with ICU nurses, intensivists, and hospital leadership. Features get validated against real clinical workflows โ not theoretical use cases. Our clinical advisors review what we build before it touches a ward.
Work on the signal processing and machine learning pipeline that powers VitalSync's alarm intelligence. You'll build models that classify clinical alarms in context, detect deterioration patterns, and fuse multi-device data streams in real time on edge hardware.
Lead relationships with hospital partners โ from initial clinical assessment through deployment, training, and ongoing support. You'll work directly with clinical leaders, nursing management, and biomedical engineers at UCSI, IJN, and future partner hospitals.
Build the clinical dashboard and integration layer that hospital staff interact with every shift. You'll work on real-time data visualisation, device integration APIs, and the hospital-facing web application โ with performance and reliability requirements that matter in a clinical setting.
Drive VitalSync's commercial and operational growth โ from hospital outreach and pilot coordination to fundraising support and strategic partnerships. You'll own the business infrastructure that lets the engineering and clinical teams focus on building.
VitalSync is a team that takes the problem seriously โ not ourselves. We move fast, but not carelessly; the clinical stakes demand that we get things right. Every feature we ship gets reviewed by someone who has spent time on a hospital ward. Every algorithm gets questioned by someone who understands what it feels like to miss a critical event.
We're not a traditional startup. We don't optimise for optics or fundraising narratives. We optimise for clinical relevance โ for building something that a nurse in a Malaysian ICU would actually trust with their patients' lives. That bar is higher than any investor's expectations, and we hold ourselves to it deliberately.
We value directness. If a design isn't right for clinical workflows, we say so. If an algorithm has a failure mode, we document it. If a hospital partner surfaces a problem we haven't solved, we treat it as a product brief, not a complaint. Honesty about limitations is what makes progress possible in healthcare.
We're building in Malaysia for the world โ and we believe the constraints of our context (offline infrastructure, stretched staffing, regulatory complexity) make us sharper, not weaker. The best solutions to Asia-Pacific's healthcare challenges will come from people who understand Asia-Pacific's healthcare reality.
Every day's output directly connects to patient safety in Malaysia's ICUs
Early team members receive meaningful equity โ aligned with the mission, not just the salary
Regular ward visits and clinical team exposure โ you'll understand the problem deeply
Conferences, courses, and clinical training โ we invest in the people who invest in the work
