First place at the Harvard HSIL Malaysia Hub, then Top 30 in the world.

In April 2026, VitalSync won first place at the Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab Malaysia Hub hackathon, hosted at UCSI Hospital. The win earned a place in Harvard's venture building program and the global competition, where VitalSync was named a Top 30 venture out of 1,553 worldwide, from more than 12,000 initial applicants. It validated the clinical case for AI-driven deterioration prediction and alarm management in Asia-Pacific ICUs, and opened the clinical partnerships we are building on today.

UCSI Hospital, Port Dickson, hosted the Harvard HSIL Hackathon where VitalSync took first place, and has been our anchor clinical partner since. We are working with the hospital's clinical leadership toward an ICU pilot focused on alarm fatigue reduction and early deterioration detection.

Malaysia's National Heart Institute has agreed to pilot VitalSync, with the formal research protocol now in preparation. The collaboration focuses on the specific challenges of cardiac intensive care, where multi-parameter monitoring makes alarm burden and early warning especially critical.
